Why Is It Called Uttarabodhi Mudra?
The term Uttarabodhi Mudra comes from Sanskrit.
- Uttara means supreme, higher, or ultimate.
- Bodhi means knowledge, awakening, or enlightenment.
This powerful yogic hand gesture is believed to awaken higher wisdom and spiritual awareness. Regular practice of Uttarabodhi Mudra helps reduce Agyana (ignorance) and promotes clarity, consciousness, and inner understanding.
