Why is it called Jalandhara Bandha?
Jalandhara Bandha is a classical yogic energy lock. The word Bandha means lock or bond. The term Jalandhara is derived from Jala (network or web) and Dhara (flow or stream), meaning the lock that controls the network of energy channels. This bandha primarily regulates the flow of prana in the throat, neck, and chest region.
