Deepen (appetizer), pachan (digestive), kanthya (good for throat), arshoghna (anti-hemorrhoidal), dantarigahara (treat dental diseases), raktapittahara (useful in bleeding disorders), mutrakrichhahara (treat painful micturition)

Therapeutic Uses

1. Arsha - tejavati, vidanga, devadaru, and yava powder with ghee s useful as fumigation in piles treatment.
2. Karnashoola - oil prepared with tejavati is used as drops in earache.
3. Dantachala - toothbrush made up with the twig of tejavati is useful in toothache and looseness of teeth.
