Therapeutic Indication

Rechaka (purgative), arshoghna (anti-hemorrhoidal), dantarigahara (treat dental diseases), raktapittahara (useful in bleeding disorders), mutrakrichhahara (treat painful micturition)

Therapeutic Uses

1. Sandhishoola - leaves paste is applied in inflammation on joints.
2. Dantashoola - twig of pilu is useful as a toothbrush in toothache.
3. Kasa - leaves decoction is useful to treat cough.

Dose

Powder - 1-3 gm, decoction - 50-100 ml
