jwarahara (anti-pyretic), krimighna (anti-helminthic), raktapittahara (useful in bleeding disorders), trishnanigrahana (useful to treat excessive thirst)

Therapeutic Uses

1. Jwara - cold infusion with dhanyaka powder is useful to treat fever.
2. Atisara - powder of parpataka and musta is beneficial in diarrhea with honey.
3. Trishna - parpataka soaked water is beneficial to treat excessive thirst.

Dose

Powder - 3-6 gm, decoction - 50-100 ml
