Balya (stamina booster), Rasayana(rejuvenation), sukrala(aphrodisiac), dahahara (useful in burning sensations), brumhana (bulk promoting)

Therapeutic Uses

1. Vrushya - root powder with warm milk in the morning is beneficial as an aphrodisiac.
2. Raktapitta - root juice in both nostrils (as a nasya)is useful to treat epistaxis.
3. Vatvyadhi - oil prepared with mahameda is taken with milk for arthritic pain.
