Yogurt has anti-fungal properties that help to reduce dandruff and also prevent hair fall.

It acts as a deep conditioner and gives natural smoothness to the hair.
Yogurt also balances the pH of the scalp which regulates sebum production.
It has many vitamins and essential fatty acids, that help to get better hair.
Side effects and risks:
Internally yogurt has no or fewer side effects, but in dairy allergic or lactose intolerant persons may have hives, redness, irritation, and itching.
Externally, yogurt can be applied only on a sunny day. Applying it during nights can cause common cold and in patients with sinusitis it aggravates the symptoms.

Take yogurt, sesame seeds, amla powder, and honey make a paste, and apply it to the scalp and hair. Leave for 30-35 minutes and wash with a gentle shampoo. It gives deep nourishment and conditioner to the hair.
