  • Home Remedies for Eczema

  • Apply sandalwood (chandan) paste or an ice pack overnight.

  • Use aloe vera gel directly on the affected area.

  • Add turmeric (haldi) to boiling water and use it to rinse the skin before bathing.

  • Apply a mixture of carrot (gaajar) and spinach (palak) juice on the affected area.

  • Boil 2-3 slices of green mango peel in four cups of water until it forms a paste. Let it cool and apply for 15 days.

  • Mix one teaspoon of licorice (mulethi) root with a little sesame (til) oil, warm it, apply to the affected area, cover with a bandage for 3-4 hours, and repeat twice a day.

  • Boil 30g each of babool bark and mango bark in 1 litre of water for 30 minutes. Use the water for a warm compress for 15-20 minutes, then dry the area.

  • Boil 20-30 neem leaves in 4-5 cups of water for 20 minutes. Let it cool and use it as a wash.

  • Boil three organic carrots until soft, mash into a paste, apply for 15 minutes, and rinse with cold water.

  • Steep a tablespoon each of ground juniper berry and thyme (ajwain ke phool) in boiling water for at least 5 minutes. Drink this after your main meal.

  • Boil 50g of horsetail plant (cheel) in 1 liter of water for 10 minutes, cool, strain, and add to bathwater. Bathe for 10 minutes.

  • Soak cucumber (kakadi) slices in water for two hours, strain the water, and apply with a clean cloth.
