Ingredients :
Fresh curd - 1 cup (150ml).
Pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon (3gm).
Jaggery/sugar - 10gm (2 teaspoons).
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon (2gm).
Butter/ghee - 1 teaspoon.
Mustard - 1 teaspoon.
Fenugreek - 1/2 teaspoon (3gm).
Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon (3gm).
Crushed red chilli - 1 or 2, as per taste.
Curry leaves - 5 to 6.
Total servings - 1 glass (200-250 ml)
How to prepare :
Add pepper powder, jaggery and salt to fresh curd and blend it well.
For seasoning, heat butter or ghee in a pan, add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, red chilies and curry leaves to it.
In place of jaggery/sugar, only salt can be used as per the taste and requirement.
Rasala is ready to serve with roti and rice. Or Add more water and lemon juice for consuming it as a healthy drink.
