Ingredients :Pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon (3gm).
Fresh curd - 1 cup (150ml).
Jaggery/sugar - 10gm (2 teaspoons).
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon (2gm).
Butter/ghee - 1 teaspoon.
Mustard - 1 teaspoon.
Fenugreek - 1/2 teaspoon (3gm).
Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon (3gm).
Crushed red chilli - 1 or 2, as per taste.
Curry leaves - 5 to 6.
Total servings - 1 glass (200-250 ml)
How to prepare :
Add pepper powder, jaggery and salt to fresh curd and blend it well.
For seasoning, heat butter or ghee in a pan, add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, red chilies and curry leaves to it.
In place of jaggery/sugar, salt can be used as per the taste and requirement.
Rasala is ready to serve with roti, rice. Or Add more water and lemon juice for consuming it as a health drink.
It is good for rejuvenating, appetizing, & promoting strength.
Useful in inflammatory bowel diseases such as crohn's disease and colitis.
It is good for general debility and emaciation.
Should be avoided during respiratory illness.
