Soak the almonds overnight. Use mesh cover to cover the bowl as air circulation keeps them fresh. The longer the almonds are soaked, they will plump up and the milk will be creamier.
Drain the almonds from soaked water and rinse them thoroughly 2 to 3 times with clean water.
Peel the almonds (to avoid straining the pulp).
Add the soaked almonds and clean water to a blender/food processor to blend them into a fine paste.
If you prefer to strain the milk, pour the milk into the strainer/cheesecloth and press with fresh hands to extract the milk.
