Ingredients :

  • Fenugreek/spinach or any other green leaves - 1 cup.

  • Onion finely chopped - 1/2 cup.

  • Ripe tomato (finely chopped) - 1 .

  • Garlic cloves (minced) - 3 to 4.

  • Dal water (supernatant of boiled pulses) - 2 cups.

  • Salt and pepper powder - to taste.

  • Oil - 1 teaspoon.

  • Total quantity - 2 cups (1 serving).

  • How to prepare :

  • Take a pan, heat oil and add chopped onion, and garlic and saute until onions for 2 to 3 minutes.

  • Add the tomatoes and cook for a few more minutes. Now add cleaned and chopped fenugreek/spinach leaves and cook until they soften.

  • Now add 2 cups of diluted dal water and simmer for 15 minutes.

  • Grind half of the quantity and add it to the rest of the soup and simmer for another 5 minutes.

  • Give taste to the soup by adding salt and pepper powder.

  • Benefits :

  • Green leaves are milk-boosting food, so it increases breast milk production.

  • If the soup is made out of fresh fenugreek leaves, it improves digestion and provides good nutrition values.
