Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris) seeds or powder - 3 tsp.
Yashtimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra) powder - 2 tsp.
Sugar - 3-4 tsp.
Milk - 1/2 glass.
Water - 1/2 glass.
How to prepare :
Boil water for 3-5 minutes.
Add Gokshura seed or powder, yashtimadhu powder, sugar and boil for 3-4minutes.
After cooling down, add milk. It is ready to drink.
Benefits of Gokshura Kashaya :
Gokshura or gokharu (Hindi name) or Neggina Mullu(Kannada name) is
very beneficial in urinary system related problems. In females, if there is a severe stomach pain during menstrual cycle, then this Kashaya
would be the first choice.
On a daily basis, if we drink this Kashaya, it helps to detox the
body. It helps to clear the urinary passage, if anybody is having difficulty in urination.
Yashtimadhu or mulethi (Hindi name) or Jyeshtamadh (Kannada
