Ingredients :
Bhumyamalaki (Phyllanthus niruri) - 7-8 leaves.
Jeera (Cumin) - 1 tsp.
Black pepper - 3-4.
Grated coconut - 2 tsp.
Salt - as required.
Green chili (if required) - 1-2.
Buttermilk - 1-2 glass.
For tadka - Mustard (4-5), curry leaves (3-4), Hing (1 pinch).
How to prepare :
In a pan, add a small quantity of oil, fry leaves, jeera, black
pepper, and green chili for 3-5 minutes on a medium flame.
After cooling, add grated coconut, salt, and fried items in a
mixer jar and grind it, till it becomes a smooth paste.
Add freshly prepared buttermilk to the paste, and mix it.
Add tadka by using mustard, curry leaves, and hing, if required. Without tadka also can be served with rice.
