Deepen (appetizer), Mutrala (diuretic), ashmarighna (lithotriptic), trishnahara (reduces excessive thirst), dahahara (decreases burning sensation), kusthahara (treat skin diseases)

Therapeutic Uses

1. Jwara - leaves juice of vetasa is beneficial in fever.
2. Aruchi - flowers paste is useful as an appetizer in anorexia.
3. Sotha - bark decoction is useful in inflammation due to arthritis.

Dose

Decoction - 50-100 ml, flower distillate - 15-20 ml
