Therapeutic Uses
|
1. Jwara - make pills from the kupilu and maricha powder with the decoction of vatsakabija is beneficial in fever.
2. Aruchi - kupilu, hingu, and navsadar powder given with lemon juice in anorexia.
3. Visuchika - fried kupilu powder, hingu, and navasadar take with the water, it is helpful in dysentery.

|

Remedial Measure
|
Symptomatic treatment is advisable during an emergency.
Anti-dot: paribhadra (erythrina Variegata) is anti-dot of kupilu.

Purification
|
The outer skin of seeds is removed, boiled in cow milk for 7 days. after that seeds are sundried and fried in ghee and made into a powder.
