How to Use Amla for a Healthy Life
The use of formulations of amla, such as chyavanprasha and Amalaki Rasayana, can prevent a variety of diseases.
Raw amla can also be taken as a food supplement. For best results, take it during the season (October-February).
Make candy out of raw amla, steam it in normal water, add powdered rock sugar to soften it, and take it with warm water in the morning to reap its benefits.
For better hair growth, amla powder with water/rose water applied to the scalp and taken with cow ghee twice a day is beneficial.
