How to Use Pippali (Long Pepper) for Natural Deworming

Pippali (Long Pepper) is widely used in traditional Ayurvedic practices and may help support digestive health and natural deworming when used appropriately.

  • Mix Pippali powder with ½ teaspoon of jaggery in warm water and consume it before bedtime. This traditional remedy may help support the elimination of intestinal worms.

  • Combine a pinch of Pippali powder with ½ teaspoon of fresh aloe vera pulp. Take this mixture on an empty stomach in the morning to help promote natural deworming.

  • Mix a pinch of Pippali powder with 1 teaspoon of sesame oil and 1 teaspoon of honey. Consume with water at bedtime for 3-4 consecutive days to support intestinal health.

  • Take ¼ teaspoon of Pippali powder, ½ teaspoon of fresh ginger juice, and 1 teaspoon of honey twice daily before meals. This combination is traditionally used to help manage intestinal worm infestations.

  • Applying oil prepared with Pippali churna (powder) around the anal region may help relieve discomfort, itching, and irritation associated with pinworm infestation.

  • Precaution and food

  • Excessive consumption of Pippali may cause heartburn, nausea, vomiting, or stomach discomfort.

  • In children, Pippali should be used only under the guidance and supervision of a qualified healthcare practitioner.

  • Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a healthcare professional before using herbal remedies.

  • Dietary Recommendations During Deworming

For better results, follow a healthy and balanced diet:

  • Eat fresh, wholesome, and easily digestible foods.

  • Avoid excessive consumption of sweets, oily foods, processed foods, and bakery products.

  • Maintain good hygiene and wash hands thoroughly before meals and after using the restroom.
