How to Use Papaya for Natural Deworming

Papaya has long been used as a natural remedy to support digestive health and eliminate intestinal worms. When used correctly, papaya pulp and seeds may assist in natural deworming and help reduce the risk of recurring worm infestations.

  • Grate fresh raw papaya pulp and take 2 teaspoons mixed with 1 teaspoon of honey on an empty stomach in the morning. This traditional remedy may support the removal of intestinal worms.

  • Mix ½ teaspoon of sun-dried papaya seed powder, ¼ teaspoon of jaggery, and 1 teaspoon of fresh beetroot juice. Drink the mixture with warm water before bedtime. This combination is traditionally used to support natural deworming.

  • Mix 1 teaspoon of papaya pulp, ½ teaspoon of ajwain (carom) seed powder, and 1 teaspoon of honey. This remedy is traditionally believed to help eliminate intestinal worms in adults.

  • Take papaya seed powder with honey and ¼ teaspoon of black pepper powder on an empty stomach in the morning to support natural deworming.

  • Precautions

  • Excessive consumption of papaya pulp or papaya seeds may cause stomach upset or allergic skin reactions in some individuals.

  • Children under 3 years of age and breastfeeding mothers should avoid consuming papaya seeds unless advised by a healthcare professional.

  • If you are pregnant or have an underlying medical condition, consult a healthcare provider before using papaya seeds for deworming.

  • Diet During Deworming

For the best results during natural deworming:

  • Avoid spicy, sour, processed, and junk foods.

  • Eat fresh, warm, and nutritious meals.

  • Drink plenty of water to support healthy digestion.

  • Avoid oily (unctuous) foods and dairy products during the deworming period.
