How to Use Curry Leaves for Hair:

  • External application of oil prepared with curry leaves is beneficial for the hair.

  • Boil 15 to 20 curry leaves in water until it reduced to half. After your usual Shampoo rinse the hair with this water. Repeat it often.

  • Internally in food preparation, it acts as an appetizer and does detoxification of the body.


  • Benefits of Curry Leaves for Hair:

  • Curry leaves have vitamin B, iron, zinc, selenium, iodine, and many more phytonutrients, which help to promote hair growth.

  • These leaves also prevent premature graying of hair and improve melanin synthesis that promotes the natural color of hair.

  • They also have anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory properties that prevents scalp and hair damage.


  • Side effects and risk factors:

  • External hair application might have no or fewer side effects but sensitive skin people need to take a prior test.

  • Internally excessive use may cause nausea and stomach upset.



  • Hair packs:

  • Take curry leaves to paste, add coconut oil and apply to the scalp. Leave it overnight, wash the hair with a mild shampoo. Repeat this twice a week to prevent premature gray hair.
