How to Use Coconut for Natural Deworming

Coconut is a traditional home remedy widely used to support digestive health and help eliminate intestinal worms naturally. Rich in healthy fats and antimicrobial properties, coconut may assist in reducing worm infestations and promoting overall gut health.

  • Mix ½ teaspoon of garlic paste with 2-3 teaspoons of coconut oil and consume it with warm water before bedtime. This traditional remedy may help expel intestinal worms from the body.

  • Combine 1 teaspoon of fresh ginger juice with 3-5 grams of dried coconut and mix well. Add a small amount of honey and consume the mixture in the morning. This remedy is traditionally used to help manage worm infestations in adults and may also be given in smaller quantities to children under appropriate guidance.

  • Mix 1 teaspoon of coconut oil with 1 teaspoon of olive oil and apply the blend around the anal region. This traditional practice may help reduce discomfort and support the elimination of pinworms.

  • Mix 1-2 teaspoons of coconut oil, a few drops of ginger essential oil, and ½ teaspoon of ajwain (carom) seeds. Take this mixture with warm water before bedtime. It may help support natural deworming in adults.

  • Combine 1 teaspoon each of desiccated coconut, ginger powder, and jaggery. Form the mixture into a small ball and consume it on an empty stomach in the morning with warm milk. This traditional remedy may help promote the natural expulsion of intestinal worms.
