How to Use Cloves for Natural Deworming

Cloves are widely used in traditional remedies to support digestive health and help eliminate intestinal worms naturally. Their antimicrobial and antiparasitic properties may assist in reducing worm infestations and promoting overall gut wellness.

  • Consuming 1-2 cloves with a small amount of jaggery in the morning may help manage intestinal worm infestations.

  • Mix ½ teaspoon of clove oil and 2 teaspoons of edible coconut oil in ¼ cup of water. Drink this mixture before bedtime. This traditional remedy may help eliminate intestinal worms in adults.

  • Taking ¼ teaspoon of clove powder mixed with honey after meals may support the natural deworming process.

  • Mix clove oil with sesame oil and apply it gently around the anal region. This traditional practice may help manage pinworm infestations.

  • For a natural vermifuge remedy, consume 1 clove, ½ teaspoon of ajwain (carom) seeds, and 5 grams of raw papaya in the morning.

  • Prepare a small ball using 1 teaspoon of ginger powder, ¼ teaspoon of clove powder, and 1 teaspoon of jaggery. Consume it with plain water in the morning. This traditional remedy may help support deworming in children.

  • Precautions and Dietary Guidelines

  • Excessive consumption of clove powder, clove oil, or other clove preparations may cause side effects such as heartburn, nausea, dizziness, or stomach discomfort.

  • During this natural deworming therapy, follow a light and balanced diet. Avoid excessively spicy, sour, oily, and salty foods.

  • Drink adequate amounts of plain water throughout the day to support digestion and overall health.

  • Cloves should be used with caution in children and only in age-appropriate quantities.

  • Pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and individuals with underlying medical conditions should consult a qualified healthcare professional before using clove-based remedies.
