How to Use Black Salt for Worm Infestation Naturally

Black salt is a traditional home remedy commonly used in natural deworming practices to help support digestive health and reduce intestinal worm infestation. When used in the right quantity along with herbal ingredients, black salt may help improve digestion and assist in the natural expulsion of worms from the body.

  • Mix 5 grams of ajwain (carom seeds) powder with ½ gram of black salt in hot water and drink it every night. This remedy may also help relieve digestive problems and bloating.

  • Consume a pinch of black salt with 5-6 fresh mint leaves before bedtime. This traditional remedy is believed to help fight intestinal worms naturally.

  • Take 2-3 grams of jaggery, 1-2 grams of mustard oil, and a pinch of black salt in the morning. This combination may help reduce worm infestation and support gut health.

  • Consume a pinch of black salt with ½ teaspoon of ajwain seeds before meals. It is traditionally used as a natural deworming remedy for adults.

  • Prepare a fine mixture of triphala powder, asafoetida (hing), neem leaves, and a pinch of black salt. Take it with hot water at bedtime to help support natural deworming and manage fungal or parasitic infections.

  • Precautions and Dietary Advice

  • Excessive or long-term use of black salt may cause heartburn, acidity, diarrhea, or stomach irritation.

  • People with increased Pitta dosha (Pitta Prakriti) may experience indigestion or stomach discomfort after consuming excess black salt.

  • Avoid salty, spicy, and sour foods during the deworming period, as they may irritate the digestive system.

  • Since black salt may help expel worms through bowel movements, avoid foods or medicines that can upset the stomach during treatment.
