Risk and side effects:
Generally, amla powder or juice has no side effects or other reactions on the skin.

Dry skin: Take amla powder, and amla juice together with honey and sesame oil, apply for the dry and peel off the skin.
Oily skin: Make a paste of rose petals, papaya pulp, and amla powder, apply to the oily and tanned skin.
For acne: Add turmeric, licorice root, pipal bark, and amla juice/paste to acne-prone areas on the face and back.
