How to Use Amla (Indian Gooseberry) for Hair:

  • Taking internally amla powder/raw amla juice is beneficial for hair, as it has many anti-oxidants, and it rejuvenates the hair.

  • Applying amla powder on the scalp is also helpful for hair care.

  • Oil prepared with raw amla is beneficial in nourishment and treating hair fall.

  • Amla cold infusion is also beneficial for washing the hair.

  • Indian Gooseberry strengthens the pores, which helps to prevent premature hair fall.

  • Make a paste of black unctuous soil and add amla juice. Applying it to the scalp helps to remove pustules/ acne of the scalp and reduces excess oil secretions.

  • Take amla powder, coconut oil, and honey and apply this mixture once a week. It rejuvenates the scalp and promotes hair growth as well.

  • Take amla pulp, add liquorice root powder, and apply to the hair after oiling and before washing the hair. It absorbs the excess oil, and reduces the use of excess shampoo and hair conditioner.
