To recover from internal piles, Ashok bark is used. To prepare the decoction, take around 90 grams of the bark and boil it in 360 ml of water and 30 ml of milk until the entire quantity reduces to 90 grams, 2 to 3 doses of this can be taken every day.
An extract of Ashok flower is used effectively to treat hemorrhagic dysentery. The extract is made by grinding the flowers along with some water, 15 to 16 drops is to be taken.
To get rid of pimples, take bark of Ashok tree grind and boil it in water until 1 cup is left out. Mix ½ cup of mustard oil to it later it cools off. Apply it on the pimples regularly .

To maintain menstrual flow at normal level, take bark of Ashok 2 tolas, milk ½ seers and water ½ seers boil them together gently and when only milk is left filter it and consume it regularly.
Take the dried flowers of Ashok grind it along with water and take 15 to 60 drops twice a day it is used to get relief from diabetes.
Ashok herb can fight fever, cold and infections as it possesses anti-bacterial properties.
Ashok is also used for healing wounds, strengthening uterine muscles. It is also believed that it prevents ocular diseases, miscarriages, neurological disorders.
To prevent females from gynecological problems, boil Ashok bark with milk and remove the bark then drink the milk by adding sugar for taste. Consume this milk once in a day up to 3 days consecutively for every 3 months.
Take Ashok tree bark and dip it in water in the whole night and next morning prepare a paste. This paste is applied externally on injured bones in order to hasten the healing process.
To get rid of skin complications, Ashok tree bark is an effective herb.
