Take a 1-inch ginger piece, add honey into it, suck for while, it soothes the throat and inflammation of the vocal cords.
Take turmeric and pinch of rock salt in warm water, gargle well twice a day is beneficial for laryngitis, it opens up the voice well.
Taking turmeric milk is also beneficial for vocal cord inflammation and good for the voice.
Taking ginger tea is also beneficial for sore throat, and laryngitis.
- take 1 t.spoon of ginger paste, add rock salt, black pepper powder, and basil leaves, add into 2 cups of water, boil for 5 minutes, add honey after cooling down the mixture, strain through the sieve, ginger tea is ready.)
Take a piece of jaggery/ raw sugar in a dry throat, it soothes the throat and improves voice.
Take a warm lentil soup or green gram soup for diet, it is light on the stomach, and also decreases the pain and irritation of vocal cords.
Take a cow ghee 1 t.spoon, add a 2 t.spoon ragi/ bajra (millets) flour, roast until the color changed, add sugar, and 1 cup of water, rest until water absorbed, add ginger powder and ajwain seeds, take once a day for reducing irritation and inflammation.
