Home Remedies for Gum Problems
Chew Holy Basil (tulsi) leaves to cure gum infection.
Chew Figs (anjeer).
Eat foods rich in vitamin C, such as grapefruit, oranges, kiwi fruit, mango, papaya, strawberry, red pepper, broccoli, brussels sprouts, and cantaloupe.
Simply take some diluted raw Honey (shahad) and apply it to the affected area(s). Allow the honey to work before it is flushed from your mouth.
The use of Neem twigs has antimicrobial, anti-malarial, anti-tuberculosis, detoxifying, antiviral, analgesic, and other properties.
For bleeding gums gargle with lemon water.
Take charcoal of black catechu bark, add rock salt, rub on the gum and teeth, it strengthens the gum.
Take a betel nut, make a powder, apply it with honey in bleeding gums, it helps.
Gargle with alum water(a pinch of alum in 2 glasses of water) in bleeding gums and pyorrhea.
Chew rosary pea plant leaves in burning sensations during new dentures, it helps.
Helpful Tips for Gum Problems
Rub manjana (ayurvedic) on gum once a week.
Brush the teeth with Karanja (Pongamia pinnata), or neem twig once or twice a day.
Floss the teeth with care, and according to the need.
Gargle with warm water or medicated water (with Haldi, the bark of pipal tree, or banyan tree).
Rub honey on the gums frequently to strengthen the gums.
